Designing a Professional Website for Tobin & Sons

Tobin & Sons Moving & Storage approached our Creative Technology team with the vision of creating a modern and engaging company website. Tobin & Sons is a family-run business that provides relocation services to the residential, commercial, academic, and life science markets since 1950. We worked with their team to bring their idea to life by developing a dynamic website with features designed to drive user engagement. The main goals of the website redesign were to showcase the company’s services, boost visitor interaction with the site, and generate new business for the company.

To start, we developed the website using WordPress which allowed our team to create custom template designs that matched Tobin & Son’s branding. WordPress also gave us the flexibility to ensure the website was optimized and responsive for any screen or device the site was being viewed on.

When a user lands on their website, they are greeted with a dynamic and interactive homepage that includes strategic call-to-action buttons across the page to drive user interaction with the company. The homepage featured a slider banner that provided users with a brief overview of Tobin & Sons, its quality-first approach, and excellent customer service.
As users scrolled down the homepage, we added sections where viewers could learn more about the company’s services, check out photos from recent projects, and read positive customer testimonials.
To showcase their expertise, we built dedicated webpages for each of their services including academic moving, commercial services, life science, interstate & international moving, warehousing & distribution and residential services. These webpages were featured in the top navigation ensuring users could easily locate information relevant to their service requirements.
Besides informational content, the webpages also provided users with moving tips, additional details on the company’s employee training and specialized handling equipment, lists of client projects with similar scope, and brief case studies.

To facilitate seamless communication between Tobin & Sons and prospective clients, our team added an easy-to-use contact form on the website. Using the form, users could reach out to the company for more information about a particular service or request a quote. Our team also added a field in the form allowing users to indicate how they heard about the company from a dropdown menu of options, including Google Search, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This allowed Tobin & Sons to identify and focus on effective marketing channels.
To help users learn more about Tobin & Sons, we designed a vibrant ‘About Us’ webpage that discussed the company’s history as well as introduced their core team with each member’s headshot, name, and job title.
Another key component of the website was the ‘Tobin Advantage’ webpage that further expanded on the company’s expertise and how it adds value to a customer’s relocation experience. The page also features a video of the Tobin & Sons team at work and customer testimonials. Our team embedded the video on the page to give users the flexibility to watch it without having to navigate away from the site. Our team also built individual webpages to highlight the company’s community outreach efforts and partner network.

Today, our team continues to provide Tobin & Sons with cloud-based web hosting services. We are thrilled to have partnered with Tobin & Sons to help redesign their website and look forward to working with them on other creative projects!
